OWSL Training and Tryouts – Update

The OWSL is the highest expression of women’s amateur soccer in Ontario. To promote BAS and the depth of the women’s game in Brampton, we are pleased to announce that our OWSL team will be returning for the 2013 season. Home games are in Brampton on Wednesday evenings at Terry Fox Stadium.

Every Sunday starting April 21st.

Location: Heartlake Secondary School
Time:  1:00pm – 3:00pm
Notes:  Please bring running shoes for the running portion of the session

With the division title hanging in the balance, men’s Division I rivals, Punjab United and FC Copenhagen concluded their seasons at Victoria Park tonite.

Coming into the contest, both teams sat atop the standings knotted at 33 points. Not that peculiar. What was though is that the squads were tied in nearly all other aspects. Wins, 11; head-to-head, 1 win each; goals against, 16; clean sheets, 2.

Battling for 1st place is not foreign to either side as they’ve swapped the honour with each other no fewer than 4 times this season.
