Fantastic Finish Promised For Women

Monday, August 17th, 2009

You’d have to search far-and-wide before you found another finish like the one anticipated for Women’s Division A.

After 12 matches and only 2 weeks remaining, the standings atop the division are:

Armada………..25 points
Gedney Girls…24 points
Peel WSC…….23 points
Levendi FC…..23 points

The title will likely get decided on the last day of the season when Levendi hosts Gedney Girls and Peel squares off against Armada.

Still capable of spoiling the party are the distant Herricanes and Lady Lynx who face Gedney Girls and Armada, respectively this Friday.

So often when a division is this tight so late in the campaign, the season gets “made” by a timely goal or a big save. A hero may be born. Stay tuned…
